Collaboration with CIRAD (French Agricultural Research Centre for International Development)

ATAS has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Cooperation of International Research & Agriculture Development (CIRAD), a French agricultural research and cooperation organization forging for the sustainable development of tropical and Mediterranean regions, to modernise the Malaysian agriculture sector. This is in line with the 12th Malaysian Plan, 2021 – 2025, which focuses on smart farming. The signing ceremony was witnessed by H.E Mr Roland Galharague, Ambassador of France to Malaysia.


Collaboration with Thought for Food (TFF)

ATAS has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Thought for Food during Future Food Festival on 8 January 2022 at Publika, Kuala Lumpur. The Future Food Festival seeks to spark discussion on three broad focuses, (1) food and innovation that will deliver safer and tastier products, (2) concerns over climate change and the environment caused by current world food productions systems and (3) greater access to a lifestyle that includes nutritious, safe and ethically-produced foods. The Thought For Food® (TFF) Foundation is the world’s pioneer and leader in next-gen innovation and startup acceleration for food and agriculture. TFF work with more than 30,000 next-generation leaders from over 175 countries, empowering them to generate and scale breakthrough business ventures that build sustainable, inclusive, and resilient food systems. In this partnership, both parties will leverage their combined networks and resources to further each organisation’s aims by increasing the access and opportunities for next-gen in Southeast Asia countries, primarily in Malaysia and broader Southeast Asia region, and work together to enable and empower next generation food and agricultural innovators to shape sustainable food systems.
