About

The Arts and Creativity Exhibition (ACE), organized by the Malaysian Invention and Design Society (MINDS), was held for the first time in 2015.  This annual event focuses on young Malaysians, and was conceived with the following objectives:

  • To actively encourage creative imagination, both in writing and in drawing
  • To improve English language skills

In order to assist teachers to better prepare their students for this competition, MINDS is organizing a seminar covering the theme of ACE2019 for English and Art teachers and students in collaboration with the Faculty of Education, UM.

 

Write & Illustrate competition 

The programme takes the form of a competition titled Write and Illustrate, and culminates in the exhibition ACE2019. The theme for ACE2019 will be “Unity in Diversity.

As in previous years, the competition is open to three categories of students in Malaysia, namely:

  1. Primary school pupils
  2. Secondary schools pupils
  3. Undergraduates in institutions of higher learning (IHL)
